About the Company
Zus is a service provider for many different types of healthcare organizations. Through the Zus Platform, we enable healthcare organizations to access patient data, or “Protected Health Information” (as that term is defined under the HIPAA Privacy Rule) and build software applications to enable various types of services for healthcare organizations that provide services to patients. Under the HIPAA Privacy Rule, the Company is acting as a “Business Associate” for these healthcare organizations, which may be either “Covered Entities” or other Business Associates under HIPAA. The services that the Company provides to these healthcare organizations are governed under separate terms and conditions called the “Zus Builder Terms of Service”.
These Website Policy Terms, along with the Website Privacy Policy, are only applicable to the Website and the information we collect about you on the Website. To learn more about what Protected Health Information of yours the Company may receive or share through our health information exchange (“HIE”) connections, as well as your right to opt out of these activities, please read the Zus Patient Notice.
