Feature Friday: The ZAP That Works Everywhere Care Happens
All summer long, our Feature Fridays series is spotlighting the capabilities that make Zus data more powerful, more actionable, and—most importantly—more usable for the people who need it most.
This week’s star: the embeddable ZAP. If you’ve seen the ZAP in action, you know it’s more than just a pretty UI—it’s the single, unified view of a patient’s health, powered by all of Zus’ data gathering, enrichment, and reconciliation magic (see: Common Patient Record and Intelligent Refresh). But here’s the thing: a single source of truth only matters if it’s available everywhere your team needs it.
The embeddable ZAP lets you bring that same, real-time patient record into any workflow–inside or outside the EMR. Using industry-standard technologies like SMART on FHIR launch, we’ve made it simple to place the ZAP wherever your teams work:
- In the EMR, so a physician sees the full story before a visit
- In a customer portal or patient relationship management (PRM) system for outreach staff
- On a mobile device for care managers on the go
One Zus client uses the embeddable ZAP in two places: inside their EMR via SMART on FHIR and in their own homegrown application via iFrame. That means physicians and outreach staff are working off the same unified record, including hard-to-find details like up-to-date patient contact info.
